Hello,
Could you please tell me of the meaning of "so am I" in this example:
"I feel such empathy for my dog when she’s upset so am I"
I guess the pronoun "She" was turned to the dog; also, the dog got upset firstly, as a result, the man already had felt empathy for her, so why they added "so am I"?
Thank you
