Vocabulary

the meaning of "robbed of" and "family like"

Hello everyone,

I have a few questions and I will be happy if you could answer them out of your kindness.

1- I just wonder whether this sentence is correct: The old men were robbed of their bags.

2-I don't know what to choose for this question: Friends and family..... were devastated by the news of his suicide.

A) same B) identical C)similar D)like E)alike. I think it should be like, but I don't figure out what this sentence means with the like.

3- Is bear responsibility or carry responsibility correct in the following sentence. I googled but both of them gave the approximate results. Here is an example. It's your decision; you must...... the responsibility if things go wrong.

Thanks in advance.Emotion: smile
