The meaning of interest

Hi evryone,

Could anyone help to advise the meaning of interest in below sentence

"Assessing interest will involve assessing where different stakeholder interest rests and how interested they are in the development of the organisation"

Does it mean share or money received/paid from an investment/loan ?

Thanks

"Assessing interest will involve assessing where different stakeholder interest rests and how interested they are in the development of the organisation" I think it means the interest of the stakeholders, as in whether they are interested in (this project, whatever it is). g. If I am a stakeholder, my interest will be in the working girls' market.

  • g.
  • If I am a stakeholder, my interest will be in the working girls' market.
  • Hope that helps.
