The meaning of "each way from here"

I would be really grateful if someone could tell me what is the meaning of "each way from here". Do they state that it is required to spend four hours for travelling for both going and returning? I mean, is the total amount of time that they need to spend for traveling four hours or eight hours?

It's two days - that includes four hours' travel time each way from here.
