Hi~ I'm wondering whether the word "building" has a special meaning in this context.
I thougt it means "school building", the structure itself. But it might have another meaning that I don't know.
So, I'd like to hear your opinion. What do you think? Thank you~.
I was a new superintendent but had worked for 25 years in the district in a variety of roles. This experience was extremely helpful as it gave me a great deal of institutional knowledge and ability to deal with the challenges of implementing change. Fortunately, I had a seasoned superintendent’s cabinet that included the building principals and central administrative staff. In addition, I had a committed board of school directors and teachers, parents, and community members who were focused on quality education for all.
Anonymous I thoug h t it mean t "school building", the structure itself. That's more or less right. The superintendent doesn't spend his or her day in a particular school, but he oversees principals, each of whom spends his or her day in the school building which is assigned to them.
