The Man Who Was Thursday
I have just finished reading G.K. Chesterton's The Man Who Was Thursday It's a thriller about dynamite throwing anarchists, brandy, big breakfasts, and those who endeavour to contain them.
I now suspect I know who Sunday was (at least I have suspects) but who was Chesterton, and was he really a friend of Sunday?
This book has blown me into the air yet, at the same time, gone over my head - or perhaps it has gone over my feet, spun me, and blown me onto the ground.
It's quite a short book, and most could easily finish it within a day, many before lunch. That leaves the afternoon free, so; can anyone recommend other Chesterton works?

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, Julie. It was written in 1907, so it is now in the public domain and freely downloadable from a number of websites.

Yes, I liked it very much. It was quite scary, but I found it, nevertheless, greatly uplifting. If it is one of his darker works, then I am looking forward to reading more of his; for they must be incredibly refreshing. At least I hope so.
