The lyrics of the song "Hallelujah"

Hello,

I've just found the lyrics of the song "Hallelujah",

That's interesting, but I don't understand the lyrics completely,

Please explain to me (in the verse 2) "You saw her bathing on the roof"

Please let me know who is "Her" - I mean, "Her" refers to a girl or something like that?

THANK YOU in advance!

VERSE 1Now I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord

But you don't really care for music, do ya?
It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift

The baffled king composing "Hallelujah" VERSE 2Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty in the moonlight overthrew ya
She tied you to a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah (source: https://genius.com/Leonard-cohen-hallelujah-lyrics)
