Has any one of you read The Lord of the Flies by William Golding? If yes, I'd love to hear what you think of the book.

Hello EU It's a while since I read the book, and I don't have it to hand. But (in no particular order): 1. I seem to recall that the children speak in a curious half adult, half-literary dialect.

Hi Englishuser,

I have seen the movie many years ago and don't recall the details, but I thought it was impressive. A bunch of kids in a deserted island trying to form some kind of an order in order to survive...then we witness them splitting into two groups and playing a harsh game of power. What do you think the main message was? I think it was saying that the human nature is not good
