The Loose Nut

The Loose Nut

Hi,

I just watched a cartoon film named "The Loose Nut." After finishing watching it, I still don't know the meaning of the title. So what does it mean to you? Thanks.

Think of "nuts and bolts". If a nut is not tightly screwed to its bolt, it will come loose and disassemble itself from the unit. However, given the types of cartoons you have been watching lately (I've helped you a few times recently) I would be inclined to say that, in this instance, "the loose nut", may refer to a character that was not altogether reliable or perhaps even slightly insane.

  • Without more information I cannot say for certain.
