Are these sentences correct:

1) The longer he stays in our school, the better he will be when he comes out.

2) The longer he stays in our school, the better he will come out.

3) The longer you work on this book, the better it will come out.

#1 is fine. #2 is incorrect. #3 I would say it differently: The longer you work on this book, the better it will be. OR The longer you work on this book, the better it will turn out.
