1. I was surprised then, but now I'm more surprised still.
2. I was surprised then, but now I'm still more surprised.

Q) Regarding "still" in #1, is #2 as natural as #1?
Q2) Can much and even be replaced with "still?"

No. I should have told you about that in my previous post. That won't work. 'even' has to go before the word it modifies, just like 'very' has to.

surprised, very surprised; but not surprised very.
more surprised, even more surprised; but not more surprised even.
