During the 1980-2010 period, starting at 10% in 1980, the percentage of tourists visiting Pier went up and down gradually to over 20% which was higher than that of those visiting Art Gallery in 2010. The figure for Pavilion increased sharply to the highest point of 48% in 1995 before dropping to above 30% in 2010. Meanwhile, there was a minor fluctuation in the rate of tourists who come to Festival from 30% to 27% over the three decades.
