Overall, it can be clearly seen that all three countries saw an upward trend in the end of the period. However, the amount of coffee exported fluctuated throughout 10 years.
Costa Rica started with the highest number of coffee exported (15 kilograms of millions), and then it witnessed a dramatic decline to about 7 kilograms of millions in 2006. However, Costa Rica's export of coffee recovered significantly over the next 7 years, roughly 20 kilograms of millions.
Another point worth noticing is that there was a sharp increase in the coffee exports in both Brazil and Colombia. The exportation of coffee in Brazil rose steadily of all three categories, from 12 million to 20 million in 2008. After dropping gradually, it continued going up considerably to 25 kilograms of millions. Similarly, the number of coffee exports in Colombia increased slowly in first four years before falling rapidly in 2008. Then, 4 years later, it shot up to 15 kilograms of millions.
