The line graph

The line graph illustrates the recycling rate for four materials from 1982 to 2010.

Overall, the percentage of recycling materials rose steadily, however, there was a different trend with each materials.

Glass containers, Paper and cardboard were recycled over a twenty-eight year period. Paper and cardboard experienced a slight growth and reached the two peaks of seventy per cent and eighty per cent. After that, the recycling propotion of Paper and cardboard dropped rapidly to seven in ten. Although Glass containers which increased by ten per cent between 1986 and 2010, it declined around two-fifths once in 1990. In the following years, Glass went up gradually to sixty per cent.

Meanwhile, Alumininium cans and Plastics were recycled later compared with Paper and Glass. Within twenty-four years, the recycling rate of Alumininium was surged reaching fourty-five per cent. The recycling figure for Plastics climbed gently from five to about ten per cent.

In conclusion, of four materials, Alumininium cans had the highest rate of recycling.

The line graph illustrates the recycling rate for four materials (which materials?) from 1982 to 2010.

Overall, the percentage of recycling materials rose steadily, however, there was a different trend ("rising steadily" is a trend, so if they all rose steadily, they all had the same trend: upwards.) with each materials.
