The lifetime works/career

Sandy wrote a paper about the lifetime works of Mother Teresa.

HI,

Is it right to understand "lifetime works" in the above as "lifetime career?" Thanks.

Not exactly. 'Works' refers specifically to the things she did, not the positions she held.

Thanks, Mister.

Got it.

By the way, are there synonyms to "lifetime works?"

'Works' is a little awkward, actually. I would have expected 'lifetime work' or 'life's work'.
