Is there a way/hint to know whether a word gets two Ls or just one, or one just has to memorise all of them? For example the word 'continuously' has one L and the word continually has two Ls.
Top answer
Hint: Coninuous and continual are both adjectives. Add the -ly ending and you get the adverb forms.
