The last King of Scotland

0I acknowledged that The Last King of Scotland is awarded the Oscar. Last week, I finally got a chance to enjoy it. I think this movie is amazing.02br

00I like the story. This is another story about the magic Africa. There are a few films concerned with the Africa. For example, Blood Diamond and Rowanda Hotel. A yong doctor, who wants to escape the control of his parents, he chooses to go to Uganda as a volunteer doctor. After a long travel, he arrives the magic place. There he works with a couple who are volunmteer to help the poor sick people there. Alough the people there are totally strange to him, the medical materials and equipement are insufficent there, he warmly devotes himself to helping them. One day, after listening to the speech of Ugandan new president Almin, he give a great medical treat to president Almin who is hurt in a car accident. From then on, he enter into the life of president. The president really appreciate him for the good medical treat. Later, the yong doctor is invited to the president's residence as a guest. Unexpectedly, the president invites him to be the personal physician of president. The president entertainment him with the luxrious living and leisure. The president looks treat him as a son and trust him very much. The pure doctor is captured by the luxrious life and induced by the trust of the great president. He becames the significant private physician of new Ugandan president. He thinks that his stay will do good to the father-like president and the people there. However, gradually, he find the thing is not that simple. The president is changeable. Somethimes, he looks excited. He show absolute determination to improve the difficult situation of the country. Sometimes, he looks bad-temptered. He doesn't trust anybody and think anybody around him is going to kill him someday. He even kills the important officials just because that the doctor tells him that the official have a secret talk with a person that doesn't support him. The young doctor can't take all of these bad things. He doesn't admire this so-called savor of Uganda any more. He starts a secret affair with the third wife of Almin. The wife gets pregnant. He trys to solve this problem. He is going to do the abortion operation by himself. However, the wife is killed by the silly troditional treatment before his arrival. The president trys to kill him. Fortunitely, he is saved by the Ugandan doctor who has worked with him in the hospital. The Ugandan doctor asks him to release the real face of the president. He escapes from the killing and expose what really happens in Uganda to the world. The president Almin steps down.02br

00The director trys to show the real face of the Almin. The director doesn't say weather the president is a good man or a bad monarch. He is born in a poor family and lives a hard life. The Uganda suffers more because of the constant wars. He is elected as the new president. People look like him and hope he can't improve the poor life and stop the wars. He is proud of being selected as the new president and desire to improve the poor living level there. However, everything is not that easy as it looks. He has to face the impoverished economy and be careful of the everywhere hidden enemies. The other powerful contries are constantly imposing threatens on him and his countris. Could he take all these pressurs? He absolutly have no idea how to manage a country. He is just a person who is forced to be the president. Facing the varieties of problems, he is almost driven crazy. He can't trust anybody. He will kill anybody at any times.02br
