Hi,

according to the definition of "acquaint" = to provide with information; to make known to....

[She acquainted them with the facts.] that can be rephrased -------

1. She provided them with the facts. ------They were provided with the facts.

2. She made the facts known to (= unto) them.

= The facts were known to them (by her). or They were made to know the facts (by her).

3. They were acquainted with the facts (by her).

Could you tell me it is correct or not?
