"El conocimiento de la muerte no es un conocimiento a priori en nuestra maleta cognoscitiva, sino a posteriori. Por lo que no es lógicamente correcto aceptar la muerte como un conocimiento verdadero sino como un conocimiento que debemos poner en duda.

El conocimiento de la muerte es un juicio sintético. Vale decir, sin un peso existencial que lo haga un juicio verdadero. No existe una razón lógica para temerle a la muerte, sin embargo, le tememos, y daríamos cualquier cosa por escapar de ella.

Es importante notar, que en el Libro del Génesis, el hombre come el fruto prohibido del árbol del conocimiento del bien y del mal y conoce, través de ese fruto, la existencia de la muerte.

Con la desobediencia del primer Adán entra el pecado en el mundo. El hombre ya no es más parte de un todo, sino un individuo aislado en sí mismo, “escondido” en su individualidad, herido y quebrado en el alma ante la mortalidad del cuerpo. "

With the first Adam’s disobedience sin entered into the world. Man when accepting the a posteriori knowledge of death as a genuine knowledge, enters into the existential anguish of believing that is a criature, limited by time. And it is not the case.
However, at that moment, he lost the original grace present in his ignorance about the universe. Man is no longer part of a whole, but is an isolated individual in itself, "hidden" in his individuality, wounded and broke in the soul before the death of the body.
