the job i like the most

My favourite job is the (a, being a, being the, working as a ) graphic designer.

My favourite job is graphic designer.

I am always confused when it comes to talking about the word "job". Which of the above is correct? I think "working as a graphic designer" is correct. But i do hear "a graphic designer". "graphic designer" is a person, not a job.

Thank you all for your good ideas of talking about jobs. I have another question.

I am the movie critic, too.

This comes from a conversation in New Interchange. Two people talk about jobs. One of them says "It's OK. But my other job is more interesting. "And what is that?" He says "I am the movie critic, too."

Why is movie critic proceeded by "the" instead of "a"? Thank
