The is the same pen that/as I lost.

This is the same pen that I lost.

This is the same pen as I lost.

Hi,

I assume both of the above sound right but mean differently.

The first refers to "the very same pen that I lost," while the second "the similar pen, like the one l lost."

Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks.
