The invoice and the customer's name

Hi, everybody.

When I want to issue an invoice and put a certain customer's name on it how should I describe this process:

Should I say: "establish the invoice in the name of (someone)"
or : "issue an the invoice under someone's name" ??

thank you

Should " make out an invoice in the name of *** company" be okay?Emotion: smile

That's a bit long-winded. You could just write, 'Invoice *** company for $500.'

Yes, it's a verb.

[n] a statement of money owed for goods or services; "he paid his bill and left"; "send me an account of what I owe"
