The Inserted phrase " Which I do"

In the sentence, stated bellow, what does the "which I do" mean? Is not supposed to be " which I did" because all verbs are past tense?

[I told him I had no political plans, that I thought the ticket for '76 was locked in with the appointment of Rockefeller, which I do, and that I had no plans at all.]
