I am currently doing a research on AAVE (African American Vernacular English) and the focal point of my research is to prove whether AAVE has a dominant role in enriching the lexicon of Standard English. To be more precise, I am analysing the word formation processes present in the vocabulary of AAVE and analysing whether they are in SE as well. In order to answer the question of AAVE dominant nature, I would like to compare its influence (I mean the amount of words which enter SE) with other dialects. Unfortunately, I cannot find any decent articles, publications, lectures, nothing! If anyone is able to help me, I would really appreciate it. It is really important for me.
Regards, Agnieszka
