Could you tell me please if I can say it gives me a great pleasure (to do smth.,etc.) using the indefinite article? I have heard for a few times people saying it using 'a'
Or is it not correct? Should I only say it gives me great pleasure with no article?
Thank you!

It is a great pleasure to see you again. "a" is needed here. It gives me great pleasure to introduce to you our new director - No article

While the version without the article is more correct (after all "pleasure is an uncountable noun in this sense) the one with the article is quite common and is considered acceptable.
