Termites are eaten in some places in Africa. They're kind of pan roasted over a fire. Supposedly, they are very nutritious and even tasty. That's one of those things that I'll take someone else's word for.
If you simply cook something by roasting, frying, baking, boiling or broiling it, can you say a recipe is involved? I would think that a recipe includes a list of ingredients of other things

On Saturday I dug up a nearly adult cicada in my yard. First time I've ever seen one under ground. It was pale, didn't have any wings yet, and limited its reaction
