The head-manager at the time

Are these sentences correct:

1-When the project was proposed, the head-manager at the time rejected it.
2-When the project was proposed, the then head-manager rejected it.

3-When the project was proposed, our head-manager at the time rejected it.
4-When the project was proposed, our then head-manager rejected it.

In the first two, we are talking about the head-manager of a company that might or might not be 'ours'. In the second set of sentences we are talking about the head-manager of 'our' company.

Gratefully,
Navi.

I would not hyphenate "head-manager."
