The greatest photographers of our time//in modern time

Tony has established himself as one of the greatest photographers of our time.

Hi,
Is it all right to replace "of our time" in the above with "in modern time" without making a change in meaning? Thanks.

" Modern time means different things to different people in different contexts. It may amount to the same thing in specific cases, but I don't think you could apply it generally. Others would probably not object.

I would say "no." Modern time means different things to different people in different contexts. It may amount to the same thing in specific cases, but I don't think you could apply it generally.

Others would probably not object. It depends on how precise you want to be.
