The graph below shows the number of tourists visting a particular Caribbean island between 2010 and 2017.

The given line chart illustrates how many visitors went to the Caribbean island from 2010 to 2017 and their choices of accommodation.

Overall, there was an upward trend in both the numbers of visitors on cruise ships and island. Notably, more people selected to stay on the island than on cruise ships, but in the end, they preferred staying on cruise ships.

Looking at the graph more closely, one can see that in 2010, there were 0.25 million people that stayed on cruise ships. In 2011, the figure stood at 0.5 million and decreased to 0.25 million in 2012. Between 2012 and 2017, this number witnessed a significant increase and reached a peak of 2 million visitors in the last year of the period mentioned.

Meanwhile, 0.75 million people chose to stay on the island in 2010 and 2011. After that, this figure was a growing trend and remained unchanged at 1.5 million from 2013 to 2015. However, in the end, fewer tourists selected to spend the night on the island than on cruise ships and this figure was 1.5 million in 2017. In total, the number of visitors going to a Caribbean island ranged from 1 million to 3.5 million.
