The line chart shows changes in the number of queries sent to the Tourist Information Office in one city over the first six months of 2011.
In general, people in this city became more into sending enquiries via telephone and in person, instead of using letter / email. Also, the period witnessed a significant growth in the number of queries made in person.
In January, the number of enquiries made through telephones was highest, with around 900, followed by the figures for the “by letter/email” and “in person" category, with nearly 800 and 400, respectively.
From January to June, the number of queries made directly at the office rose twofold to 800 in March and to 1900 in June, making it the most favored way. Meanwhile, the figure for those made via telephones saw a less significant growth to 1600 in June. Sending enquiries via letter or email became gradually less common, with its data halving to under 400 in May and remaining stable by the end of June.
