The graph illustrates the quantity of wheat exported of Australia, Canada and European Community in the period between 1985 and 1990.

Overall, the Europeans began with the middle amount of grain being traded abroad, however reached the top in the end of 1990. By contrast, Canada took their first step as the highest and increased to the largest number in 1988 , yet utterly came as the second.

To have a more detailed look, the Canadians experienced a fluctuated 5-year time of their wheat production overseas with the beginning of approximately 20 million tones, then took a slight fall in 1986 but dramatically rose again until it achieved 25 million tones. Nevertheless, from 1988 to 1989 wheat exports declined remarkably to less than 15 million then ended up returning to their initial place. Otherwise, the community of Europeans encountered a similar trend in 1986 (under 15 million tones) and increased steadily again in the next 2 years. Finally, after a significant growth, in 1990 it became topmost with the extent of more than 20 million. Australia started with 15 million tones, after a meager increase in 1986, their exports gradually fell to around 11 million.
