This data for Australia went up slightly until 1986 when it experienced a downward trend to just above 10 at the end of the period. The statistics for EU, by contrast, hit a low of under 15 million tons before recovering moderately in 1987. It plateaued for another year, and then surged by a third to over 20 million tons in 1990.
On the other hands, at the beginning of the period, the quantity of wheat export by Canada was higher than others, at 19 million tons.
