The line graph illustrates the data on the entire oil consumption of four countries from 2009 to 2030.

Overall, the UK consumes the highest amount of oil during the period shown. However, the oil used in China and the Middle East tends to slightly increase while the oil use of Western Europe and Japan declines gradually.

In the first 5 years during the period given, the amount of oil usage fluctuated minimally and reached a peak of 10 while the oil consumed in Western Europe and Japan fall steadily from around 4 to 3 million. From 2015 to 2030, the oil used in the UK fall steadily to approximately 4 million, similarly, the figure of that in Western Europe and Japan drop continuously to its bottom (more than 2 million).

Between 2009 to 2015, the figure for oil consumption in China and the Middle East had the same trend to climb from under 2 million to 3 million and above 2 million respectively. By 2030, the oil used in China is expected to remain stable at around 3 million whereas there will be a constantly rising to about 3 million.
