The government should control the amount of violent film and program on television.
What extent you agree or disagree?
In recent years, violent crime programs have been gaining in popularity as a way for TV program producers to increase a number of audience rating. It is argued that maintaining that of programs brings a wide range of methods for entertain and educate the public. Nevertheless, I agree with the opposite idea that the government should censor what are shown on television to curb violence and that is increasing significantly in our society.
One of the hand, if many brutal movies and TV Shows are presented on televisions, there are various negative impacts on our society. Firstly, the main drawback is that showing a number of violent crime programs is considered as providing for prospective criminals a free training course. The reason for that is most programs present the whole procedure done offences, which may be recurred by potential crimes. In many situations, that of programs play a role as guidelines for criminals to break the law.
Another negative of a number of brutal sense appearing on televisions is that it has an impact on children’s emotion and behaviour. The children can more opportunities to access to violent actions, which make them unable to distinguish between right and wrong. As a result, they could tent to imitate brutal activities shown in movies in daily life, which may affect their social development.
Turing another side of the argument, It is supposed that many violent programs which have educational contents should be retained. By doing that, people can understanding criminal’s psychological process and actions that help them to have well- prepared solutions on encountering similar situations. In addition, in terms of entertainment, watching violent movies may help people have a sense of relaxation after a long hard work day.
In conclusion, because a wide range of drawbacks from showing many violent films and programs, the government should control contents appearing on the screen to reduce this issue.
