The good explanation?

Hello all,

Got a little question! I´m going to apply for a job on board of a cruise ship and therefore i'm writing my resume in English, but i got a little stuck on it. If you read this part of my resume, do you know what i mean by it??

Hello Before anything else, I think you need to reconsider the use of the words: Apprentice Specialized Self-contained. If you were not the head chef in any of the establishments you worked in, then you were either a sous-chef or a line chef. I would not use the term "basic cook".

Self-contained.

Self-contained cook does not mean anything to me. Perhaps you could elaborate.
