The future tense with "there to be"

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHICH OF THESE SENTENCES IS GRAMMATICALLY CORRECT:

1- How many people will there be at the party?

2- How many people will be there at the party?

Both are grammatically correct. They mean nearly the same thing. In (1), "will there be" derives from the set phrase "there is/are", stating the existence of something, e.g. "There are twenty people at the party". In (2), "there" is adverbial, referring to location.

(1) is probably more common. If in doubt, use this one.
