Could anybody please explain me if the sentences below are equipollent? If they are not, what is the difference?
1. I consider it important to begin the preparation at once. And: I consider it is important to begin the preparation at once.
2. I think it nesessary to wait a few days. And: I think it is nesessary to wait a few days.
3. I find it strange that he did not come. And: I find it is strange that he did not come.
It isn't wrong to use it is in that case, is it?

The first one (with 'consider') is iffy, but the others seem equipollent.
The problem with the first is that "I consider (that) it is important ..." doesn't seem to make sense to me, possibly because I myself would not generate that construction.

b) I find that this fact is strange...or: I find this fact to be strange.
