The form of nouns after "some other", "any other"

StartFragment>
Please understand my poor english. It's extremely confusing me now. I could get some examples about the subject from Longman contemporary english dictionary.

1. You'd better change into some other clothes.

2. Can we discuss this some other time?

3. Saudi Arabia produces more oil than any other country.

In no1, a plural noun, "clothes" is used after some other.

In no2, an uncountable noun “time" is used.

In the other sentence, a countable noun is used.

I am really wondering which forms are possible after “some other", "any other"

I've already referred to dictionaries, but I feel that they aren't helpful as much as I expected.

would it be helpful to understand those sentence without "other", just considering which forms are possible after "some", "any"?

I need your help.

Hello lcadia, and welcome to English Forums. These are all fine, and are being compared to different clothes/time/pencil in the context: Some/Any other clothes Some /Any other time Some /Any other pencil . These also are fine, but have different meanings-- here they are not being compared to any different clothes/time/pencil in the context: Some/Any clothes Some /Any time Some /Any pencil.
