The following usage of 'i was wandering' correct?

Hi,

Is the following usage of 'was wandering' correct?

'I was wandering if you managed to secure a flight for me that leaves on 16th, May?'

Especially in terms of mixing past tense 'you managed...' with present tense 'that leaves...'

thanks,

Lee

You can say: I was w a ndering in the forest when I saw some animals. letianrong 'I was w o ndering if you managed to secure a flight for me that leaves on 16th May? The date is better without a comma.
