This is what I read on internet "This is his first visit to a Moslem country but, more importantly, the first time the youth of modern, liberal Turkey have a chance to see a true mega-star perform live." I just can't undersand what's the meaning of the line 'the first time the youth of modern'. Would you please kindly help me out ? I'm a foreingn student who studying english Emotion: smile I think modern is a adjective, so I wonder why there is no noun behind it. does the 'youth' stand for young persons or early period of certain time ?
