The first post from an ESL regarding the usage of the following sentence

Hi all

As my name suggested , I am an ESL student.

I would like to ask for opinions upon the following sentences.

"I hope my sincereness merits a response no matter what the outcome is. And I am looking forwards to hearing from you"

As you may suspected , this is an ending sentence for my cover letter.

is it making any sense in terms of grammar and appropriateness?

I have post the sentences to the grammarly and it shows no errors.

But the resume helper in university ( not sure about the name of the position) suggests otherwise.

My understanding of the sentence structure is;

I hope { My sincereness ( Subject)+ merits (verb)+ a response ( object) no matter what the outcome is ( complement clause).

furthermore , Can I use the terms "no matter" with a phrasal noun ?

E.g "I hope my sincereness merits a response no matter the outcome. "

Thanks for your detailed explanation in advance . And I offer my apology for my harsh and rough writing

Best Wish

Alex
