I'm the first person to think that./say that.2 Putting braces on will make your profile change./has caused your profile to change. (If you had an overbite before and no longer have one because you no longer have protruding teeth, can you say it has cause your profile to change.Thank you

The above is okay, but perhaps you are thinking of, "You are not the first person to say that."

2 Putting braces on will make your profile change./has caused your profile to change. (If you had an overbite before and no longer have one because you no longer have protruding teeth, can you say it has caused your profile to change.

It would be more common to say that it will change your appearance rather than talk about profile.

alc24 1 Don't ever tell me that drinking is bad. I'm the first person to think that./say that. To be natural, or idiomatic, you should tone down the warning. It's too strong for the way the second expression is used. ("Don't ever do something" is sort of a rude, threatening admonition.)
"There's no / You don't need to tell me etc." is more appropriate and natural.

2 Putting braces on will make your profile change./has caused your profile to change. (If you had an overbite before and no longer have one because you no longer have protruding teeth, can you say it has cause your profile to change. I agree with J. about the profile. We usually use "profile" to describe one's overall silhouette (head, or full length).

Also, when I first began to read this, I was picturing leg braces, which one might put on and take off on his own, on a daily basis.
"Having [dental] braces put on will etc." is more natural, in my opinion.
There may be "retainers" which are removable - I'm not really sure - but I don't think you'd want to try putting braces on by yourself.

Edit. "Profile" is not really wrong. In the right context, it could be natural.

Re #1, you might actually want to be belligerant about it, but the second sentence seems to indicate that it's a friendly discussion.
