"The film starts at 5 o'clok"

Hello,

"The film starts at 5 o'clock", said Bob.

Normally in Reported Speech, present simple changes into past simple, however in the sentence I quoted, "starts" refers to the future.

I just want to make sure if I understand it and get the sentence right:

Bob told me that the film would start at 5 o'clock.

Is "would" correct? Is it possible to have "will" or "was going to start" instead?

Thank you

Hotmale "The film starts at 5 o'clock", said Bob. If you wish to report that as closely as possible, then simply backshift: Bob said (that) the film started at 5 o' clock. If it's not yet 5 o' clock, then you can use 'starts'.
