The fan is too slow

In another thread, I got the following suggestions from Califf Jim.

The fan is blowing too hard. or The fan is set too high.
Can you turn it down a bit?

I just forgot to ask him what was the opposite. Can I say: "The fan is too slow. Turn it up a bit." Thanks
