the evolution/ evolving

Hi,

Let assume that there is a subculture called "Timo".

I wanted to write a paper about the impact of the internet on this subculture.

Please is the use of the verb 'evolve' as a gerund correct in the following title.

Evolving the Timo Subculture

('Evolving' refers to the Timo Subculture)

Instead of:

The Evolution of the Timo Subculture

I want to turn the noun into a gerund to make more conceptual.

Thank you

HifaMo I want to turn the noun into a gerund to make more conceptual. I think that will make it less conceptual (abstract) and more like an activity. Evolving the Timo Subculture is an unusual use of the verb "evolve".
