The English grammar

Can I say this?:

-The English grammar I am learning is different from the one you are.

Here GRAMMAR refers to the system of a certain language, not a grammar book; in this sense, 'an English grammar' is wrong. If you agree, can I use THE ONE to refer to it?

Thank you.

-The English grammar I am learning is different from the one yo u are. To me, this suggests that you are each learning a different form of English grammar. For example, some people on this Forum, use one form of analysis and terminology, while other people use a more modern approach.
