I'm interested in the English culture.
I'm interested in English culture.
My gut feeling's telling me that "the" is required, as it is with "I like the English language". Which one is it?

I would leave out 'the'.
I used Google Ngrams to double-check my intuition, and I couldn't find one example of "interested in the X culture" where X was English, French, German, Russian, Greek, or Spanish.
