The different usage of "good" and "well"

I have a multiple question here:

Emma was sick, but she looked ___ .

The chioces are "good" and "well". Is there anybody who can tell me which one I should fill into the blank? Which is the best answer? Does it simply generate different meaning depending on different word?

I really appreciate your help with this question!Emotion: big smile
