The differencies between "Lady" and "Women"

guys, could you help me please...what's the difference between LADY & WOMEN ??
as i know "LADY" is nobler??
is that correct??

please give me some example's in using them in santence...

'Lady' is more polite and suggests a certain gentility when speaking of the fairer ***, but you cannot use either one directly to a female and be very polite, unless her husband is higher in rank than a baronet or knight, or she is the daughter of a nobleman not lower than an earl.

(2) Ladies are women who act in a cultured manner:

They dress appropriately.

They speak correctly and courteously.

They are honest, kind, and helpful.

Hi,

In N. America. today, many women prefer to be called 'women'. Particularly in a business / employment context, they feel the term 'ladies' has ben used by men in the past for, sometimes, patronizing purposes.

Perhaps some of the women here on the Forum nmay comment further.
