the differences between rise, arise, raise and increase???

hi...i really dont understand about that...eventhough my lecturer had been explain that.....if u mind please explain it to me... and please use easy way to explain it ::)..... thanks Emotion: smile))

Which thing u may count like speed and petrol prise u may use increase,,,

But you are not able to count size like rain fall,,sea water,,,clouds,, u may use raise
